Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurseto join our team as aRegistered Staff Nurseon theSurgical Triage Unit (STU).STU is a fast-paced, 16-bedded unit with a seating area accommodating up to 20 patients awaiting assessment.Nurses looking for an exciting challenge and a wealth of opportunities are encouraged to join our current nursing workforce who continually go above and beyond to ensure the Trust delivers outstanding patient care.
Main duties of the job You will embrace the challenge of working in a highly diverse environment, committed to becoming the safest organisation in the NHS.
You will be registered with the NMC and have experience of working in a hospital environment.We are looking to recruit post graduated experienced nurses who have transferable skills and who are passionate about the quality of care we deliver to our patients.You will receive support from an experienced and well established senior nursing team.
In addition to your Trust induction, you will also receive a ward based induction and will be given a 4 weeks supernumerary period.In addition to your Band 5 Salary you'll be rewarded with a variety of salary sacrifice schemes, a wide range of health and well-being initiatives, flexible working and an on-site nursery.

Job description Job responsibilities This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months.
Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receivea full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
