Senior Builidng Services Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is an award winning Building Services Consultancy providing MEP and Vertical Transportation advice to Construction, Facilities and Property professionals across all sectors of the Built Environment.

With a strong northern presence which includes offices in Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool, this high functioning MEP practice is well placed to deliver a wide range of technical services to buildings of mixed size and use.
With a strong reputation built in particular across commercial, residential, education, retail and leisure, the design team of circa 60 staff are well equipped and highly trained, collaborating across offices to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
The Leeds office continues to embrace organic growth, with 2 appointments seen as key moving into the second half of 2024 and early planning for 2025: Senior Electrical Design Engineer Building Physics Engineer As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be tasked with providing full electrical building services designs for a variety of buildings.
This client facing role requires a flexible approach and strong technical understanding of electrical buildings services systems, including lighting and power.
Leading challenging live schemes, managing costs and deadlines whilst encouraging Junior Engineer to express themselves and gain first hand experience are all important responsibilities to take on, demonstrating leadership and championing excellence.
Applications are invited from talented Electrical Building Services Design Engineers with a proven history of successfully managing projects from initial concept design to completion.
It would be expected that interested parties were fully conversant with industry software such as Amtech, Hevacomp, Relux and Dialux, working closely with their mechanical counterparts to create accurate designs which make buildings a comfortable place to live, work or visit.
This position could be made to fit a strong Intermediate moving up to Senior grade for the first time, or a seasoned Senior Engineer with many years experience performing as a project lead.
