What You'll Do: Design cutting-edge NLP approaches to address challenges in treating mental health conditions.
Conduct experiments to validate new AI methodologies and showcase proof of concept.
Coordinate activities of junior researchers and interns to drive project success.
Present the team's scientific work internally and externally, showcasing our impact.
Monitor advancements in AI to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
What We're Looking For: Essential: MSc in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience.
Proven track record as an effective machine learning scientist, whether in academia or industry.
Strong programming and software development skills.
Some expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) , with practical experience applying machine learning or deep learning approaches.
Solid understanding of machine learning techniques and their practical applications.
Agile thinker, capable of working with underspecified requirements and adapting to evolving challenges.
Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver results effectively.
Highly motivated and a strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
Desirable: Specialisation in areas such as natural language processing, speech processing, dialogue systems, or linguistics.
Experience in designing and working with dialogue or question-answering systems.
Hands-on experience with speech systems or similar technologies.
Familiarity with TensorFlow or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala .
