Job Location: Belfast (Hybrid - 3 days from office)We're Synechron, a global consultancy Laser-focused on accelerating digital initiatives in financial services.
With over 14,500 members of staff across 19 countries and a unique mix of end-to-end digital, business and technology services, we help clients solve complex challenges with modern and innovative solutions.Team members will rapidly come up to speed on the latest technology and domain specific languages to deliver projects while also expanding their C++ knowledge.
The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging.

Both Linux and Windows operating systems are in use with a heavy focus on Linux.Responsibilities:Work with business analysts to identify the best solution for meeting business requirementsDeliver high quality market logic normalization code and configurationEnsure bug free software through automated regression testing, unit tests, and code reviewsCollaborate with QA and Operations to ensure successful integration into test and production environmentsQualificationsExperience with the full life-cycle software development experienceExperience with C++Strong understanding of object oriented developmentSuperb communication skills (written and oral)Ability to collaborate in a team focused environmentExcellent analytical skills and a real passion for solving problems.Ability to thoroughly test and debug code using test driven developmentAbility to suggest/research new technologies and quickly adapt to changeAbility to work with both Technical Architects and Product Owners in order to build to specificationObject oriented designDesired SkillsExperience with C++Experience developing on LinuxExposure to Agile methodologiesExperience with automated testingKnowledge of scripting languages Python, Unix or Powershell shell scripts desirableKnowledge of other languages such as JavaScript, Node.JsExperience with real-time programmingAdept at software designExperience with debugging multi-threaded applicationsKnowledge of/experience with design patternsReal passion for continued learning and developmentUnderstanding of financial markets, market dataLow Latency financial market data systemsRemote Working / Office Presence: 3 days from office.Benefits Include (not limited to):Competitive compensation / Hybrid working / Immediate start availableDiversity StatementSynechron are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
