Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Driffield Pay Rate: £93 to £115 (Depending on experience) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time About the School: This secondary school is celebrated for its high academic standards and supportive community.

The Role: As a Cover Supervisor , you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of students' education during teacher absences.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage classrooms, ensuring that students remain focused and engaged with their work.
Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor: Supervise and manage a classroom of students, ensuring they remain focused on their work and adhere to the school's behaviour policies.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources left by the absent teacher.
Support students with their learning and address any questions or issues that arise during the lesson.
Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and participation.
Provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding the behaviour and progress of students during their absence.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to the school's safeguarding policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall educational experience of students.
Cover Supervisor Job Requirements: Prior experience working in an educational setting, ideally in a supervisory or classroom setting .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Patience, resilience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Have an  updated CV  ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and  an enhanced DBS  registered to the  Update Service  (or be willing to apply for one).
