Job Description:   As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with the HSCNI to find a recently qualified Band 7 level Psychologist to fulfill a long term vacancy with the Belfast Trust's Adult Autism Psychology Service.
The successful psychologist will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and families, at the same time as offering advice and consultation on patients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers.
Locum roles are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful psychology teams in the country.
This role will be for 5 days per week with no weekend or evening requirement and be for at least 12 months.
Requirements Current HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist Post-graduate doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 or those in lateral transfer) as accredited by the BPS Have specialised experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment, and also within the context of a multidisciplinary care plan.
Have an excellent understanding in the use of complex methods of psychological/therapeutic assessment, formulation, intervention and management.
