Main duties of the job We are excited to be recruiting for an Organisational Development (OD) practitioner within the Organisational Development team at UHS.
In this role, you will support the design and delivery across a broad range of OD programmes and interventions.
Working closely with other OD practitioners, OD partner and wider stakeholders throughout the organisation to make our Trust a great place to thrive, excel and belong.
We are looking for an individual who can support our commitment in delivering the meaningful work we have started, someone who can enhance and extend our support throughout the organisation in continuing to make a difference to staff experience, engagement, inclusion, leadership development and culture across the Trust.With a flair for creativity and innovation, you will utilise your unique set of skills to support delivery of a range of OD programmes and initiatives across the organisation from agreeing the approach to evaluation of impact and ultimately, we want to focus on empowering every individual to support the wellbeing and development of people across the organisation.

Job description Job responsibilities - Experience in successfully leading large-scale programmes in collaboration with others.- Evidence of best practice/evidence-based thinking and programme development regarding leadership, inclusion, and organisational culture.- Knowledge of or experience in working with and supporting people via learning or OD methodologies.- Experience in delivering interventions that promote an inclusive workplace culture and promote belonging.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Batchelors degree or equivalent experience in the subject matter plus further relevant study to Masters level or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of specialist knowledge, skills and experience in OD.
Specific Learning / OD Practitioner certification, such as Coaching, Mentoring, NLP, Leadership, Project Management, or proven CPD Record.
Desirable Accreditation in or extensive knowledge of psychometric qualifications.
Knowledge and experience Essential Experience of delivery of leadership, talent and succession planning interventions in a large organisation.
Experience of delivering interventions that promote an inclusive workplace culture and promotes belonging.
Knowledge of or experience in working with and supporting people via learning or OD methodologies.
A growth and creative mindset in line with OD thinking.
Commitment to an inclusive workplace through role modelling and positive action.
Demonstrates understanding of career development and education/development pathways.
Evidence of best practice/evidence-based thinking and programme development with regard leadership, inclusion, and organisational culture.
Desirable Experience of EDI legislation, Public Sector Equality Duty and EDI within the large scale organisations.
Experience of successfully implementing change in a large organisation.
Experience in using technology platforms, specifically learning platforms and design/communications.
