Our successful team of more than 300 professionals is rapidly growing across all areas including financial outsourcing, financial reporting, payroll and company secretarial.
Job Purpose This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual currently operating at management level to apply their skills to support with the development and delivery of our mid-market financial outsourcing offering.
Role & Responsibilities Inspire, lead and coach the local team to deliver excellent levels of client service and build a team for the future.
Develop the business, identifying opportunities to win work and work with potential clients to understand their requirements.
Liaise with other departments to ensure a joined up go to market approach.
Manage a client portfolio and ensure the provision of a quality outsourced finance function, maintaining a client centric approach.
Build strong and enduring relationships with key clients.
Delight clients through the provision of high quality, insightful management reporting and advisory solutions.
Drive gross margin profitability and enhance team productivity through streamlining and enhancement of processes and use of technology.
Review the work produced by the team to ensure it is high quality, that the team have a good commercial understanding of the business and that reporting is insightful to clients.
Provision of on demand fractional FD services, utilising our internal suite of solutions.
Actively support the adoption of new software for our clients and ensure effective implementation to enhance team productivity.
To embrace technological change in the accounting space and ensure these are embedded in our portfolio of client solutions.
Be an active member of the national Outsourcing management team collaborating with colleagues and supporting team members to deliver for our client base.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Appropriate accounting qualification – ACA/FCCA/CIMA Experience in working with £10m - £200m turnover businesses Passionate about technology, having a curious attitude and looking to maximise efficiencies through the use of technology Knowledge of ERP systems – Dynamics / SAP/ NetSuite etc (helpful) Experience of system / process implementations (helpful) Good level of commercial awareness Ability to work well in a team, with strong people and time management skills Ability to challenge and redefine process Analytical, with demonstrated examples of problem solving Ability to win new work and develop business Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills About Forvis Mazars Forvis Mazars is a leading global professional services network.
