SALARY: Up to £40,000 BENEFITS: 20 Days Holiday + Christmas break &stats Pension & Life assurance Free on-site parking LOCATION: Huntingdon COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Peterborough, Cambridge, Bedford, St Neots, Wellingborough, Rushden, Thrapston, Biggleswade, Ely, March, Kettering, Corby, Newmarket, Haverhill, St Ives JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Executive, Sales Engineer, Internal Sales - Mechanical, Hydraulic Engineering - Capital Equipment This is a new Sales Executive vacancy due to high demand for our products and systems and we are therefore adding to our sales team.
You will be the first port of call to new and existing customers at the start of their journey.
You'll engage with our clients to create custom, high-quality design solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Your key responsibilities are: Developing new and current customer relationships to progress and enhance product sales.
Creating quotations for customers by selection of appropriate product models, dimensions, capacities and options to suit their operational requirements.
Processing builds orders to our factories using our PDM system.
Use of 2D and or 3D drawing software (we use SolidWorks) to create product installation drawings.
Analysis of assembly and component drawings.
Liaising with the service, spares and accounts departments to ensure a smooth sales process PERSONAL SPECIFICATION: Sales Executive, Sales Engineer, Internal Sales - Mechanical, Hydraulic Engineering - Capital Equipment Ideally, you're a Mechanical Engineer that has great people skills and passion for sales andcustomer satisfaction.
Or maybe you're Sales Executive with a passion for technology and Engineering.
Either way you'll demonstrate: Knowledge of Mechanical and Electro / Hydraulic Engineering.
Experience of using CAD or similar design software - we use SolidWorks, but any experience is welcome.
Great time management skills prioritising workload according to factory lead times and client time scale.
Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
If you are a qualified Mechanical Engineer to HNC level or above this would be advantageous but is not necessary.
