What you will be doing: In this role, as the End User Experience (EUX) Manager you will manage the resource that provides support for all end user technology across OSB Group both in the UK and India for all end user technology solutions.
This role works alongside the infrastructure, applications and security teams to ensure optimal end to end performance is achieved through the end user technology, as well as being responsible for managing the delivery of the end user technology roadmap (inclusive of technology, OS, production tools and supporting applications).
Your responsibilities will include… Managing the lifecycle of hardware and software under EUT ownership, ensuring upgrades and replacement are well planned and budgeted for, protecting continuity of operation Automating, orchestrating and integrating processes to simplify build and distribution of the end user technology in conjunction with Digital Workplace Manager Managing the EUT Budget on an operational basis, input to budget planning and reforecasting ensuring all requirements have been factored in Working with chosen strategic partners and managing appropriate end user technology hardware within agreed service levels.
Ensure appropriate controls are in place with our selected partners to allow performance issues to be both identified and remediated Line managing and coaching all direct reports, including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration and recruitment Assisting with technical support as required with minimum disruption to services, working out of normal office hours where necessary Travel will be required between Chatham, Wolverhampton and London on a frequent basis In return for your commitment: Please use this link to see the fantastic benefits available at OSB: Could you be the one?
We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below: Previous work experience: in a client facing IT support management role in a Windows-based IT service desk environment Supplier management at an end user technology level Providing IT technical support within a Citrix environment Previous line management experience from a UK and overseas perspective ITIL Foundation certified and hold a relevant Microsoft qualification We also believe that your career and how you progress is as unique as your individual personality.
