* This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for one of our premier Retail Banking clients.
The Role You'll work closely with key business areas across the organisation on KYC/QC related matters: Perform independent review and testing of KYC information from the Analysts to assess whether a Refresh has adhered to all processes, procedures, and international regulations Take decision to either pass or fail the KYC Refresh.
Where potential KYC gaps have been identified, notify the KYC Analyst that a repair is required and make recommendations for the implementation of remedial solutions D ocument and store all testing to a standard that allows reperformance of the work by an independent third party On a daily basis you will be working on PEPs and with high risk clients Covering standard KYC and EDD client files Process enhanced due diligence checks on client KYC information to advise on the risk presented by high-risk customers and to identify any potential financial crime risk Analysing and investigating scenarios relating to counterparty and customer activity.
Skills/experience for this role: We are looking for energetic, driven individuals who have good analytical skills along with excellent communication skills You will have previous experience as a KYC/QC Analyst, with onboarding and refresh experience Previously worked as KYC/QC notifying the KYC Analysts of any repairs/recommendations for remedial solutions You will be used to working with HNW/high risk clients and PEPs You will need to have a positive attitude and flexibility towards the work/new initiatives.
You must be capable of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders Ability to work independently on projects, and communicate results to the wider team Understanding of the different types of account structures including: Corporates, Trusts, SPV's, Foundations etc Familiarity with the different regulators across EMEA and requirements e.g.
FCA, BaFIN etc
