Responsibilities of the KS1 Teacher: As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care and academic progress of your class, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Teaching the Key Stage 1 curriculum to Year 1 or 2 pupils, focusing on meeting each child's learning goals, building on their strengths, and supporting areas for growth.
Developing foundational skills in literacy and numeracy through well-structured and engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS1 students.
Promoting social and emotional development, fostering confidence, teamwork, and a love of learning in your KS1 classroom.
Monitoring pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining open communication with parents regarding their child's development as a KS1 Teacher.
