Job summary We are looking to recruit a part-time (hours) Band 3 Administration Assistant to work with the Community Continenceteam based at Clarendon, Hebburn, on a temporary basis.The post holder will be one of a team ofadministrative support staff who provide essential administrative functions,whilst interfacing with clinical and administrative staff.
The service is fast paced and you would be expected tocarry out a variety of administrative tasks.Candidates must be ableto demonstrate they have the ability to communicate effectively with people atall levels by telephone and in person.
Excellent organisational skills,flexibility and time management are also essential.
You should haveexcellent keyboard skills and a working knowledge of software packages.
Working days will beMonday, Tuesday and Friday Main duties of the job Toprovide an administrative service to the planned care team, supporting theprovision of an efficient and effective service to patients, service users and staffwithin the DepartmentEnsure accurate and timely updating and inputting ofpatient details, appointments and information into clinical record (EMIS).
To provide a range of administration and clerical support including those resulting from telephone calls Responsiblefor processing supplies orders and keeping an accurate record of expenditureCommunicatewith all appropriate staff groups and agencies as part of the servicerequirements in an effective and professional manner.
Toeffectively deal with telephone enquiries relaying information to team.
