Job Purpose Internship position to support Hill's UK and Ireland Professional and Veterinary Affairs (PVA) team to strengthen our position in the Vet Channel, drive vets' recommendation and create brand awareness.
Key projects will include: Support the planning and execution of professional events and Hill's presence at Congresses Support the implementation of continuing professional development (CPD) programmes, virtual and face to face Support the development of nutrition education and resource materials Administrative tasks to support the PVA Team   Main Responsibilities Events and Congresses Support the PVA team with planning and organisation of off-site events for the vet profession, including technical and business training events, stand content, congress briefing, rota, detail, coordinating point of sale materials and related social events.
Coordinate creation of promotional materials for upcoming events, sometimes in collaboration with Marketing team Track event registrations and coordinate communications to attendees.
Follow up to track event experience and create continuous brand endorsement and interaction.
Manage vendor creation for accounting, contract development and payments for suppliers.
CPD Manage applications for CPD credits through relevant veterinary councils Manage contracts and deadlines for hired speakers  Create promotional materials for sales team and social media about upcoming courses Maintain Hill's online Veterinary Academy with up to date materials and webinars Facilitate technical logistics for smooth online webinar hosting   Team Support Support ad-hoc projects requiring PVA input, including checking marketing materials for nutritional accuracy Support Customer Services team as needed by replying to customer emails  Support PVA team by organising and shipping Hill's branded materials for events as needed Personal Attributes In priority order:- Detail-oriented & Organised Planning & Priority setting Communicate Effectively Adaptability Experience: Strong organisational skills Interest in event coordination and/or CPD organisation Strong communication skills Ability to adapt and flex to changing circumstances Ability to challenge the status quo Competent in Google Suite, Excel & PowerPoint Skilled in basic design using tools like Google Slides, Canva, etc.will give you an advantage   Essential Competencies: Impeccable written and oral communication skills Achieve results through appropriate setting of priorities, planning and organisation Ability to work as part of team as well as on own initiative Creative thinker Effective interpersonal style, including the ability to communicate effectively with both internal & external agencies / customers Self-motivated, self-reliant, proactive with a "can do" attitude   Travel Requirements May be required to attend events across the UK and Republic of Ireland with PVA Team   Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Achieving our purpose starts with our people — ensuring our workforce represents the people and communities we serve —and creating an environment where our people feel they belong; where we can be our authentic selves, feel treated with respect and have the support of leadership to impact the business in a meaningful way.
