As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will provide support to the maintenance team on site with all breakdowns, PPM and scheduled activities.
This challenging role requires an experienced apprenticeship trained engineer (minimum of City & Guilds) in an engineering discipline with extensive FMCG, Pharma or Food Manufacturing industry experience.

Double day shift: alternating weeks - Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm Your Profile: Minimum City & Guilds in an engineering discipline linked to an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent training qualification.
Significant experience of maintenance engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry Good working knowledge of some of the following; -- Sterile manufacturing and filling processes -- Particle inspection equipment -- Automated Container integrity test equipment o Labelling equipment -- Bottle filling equipment -- Cartoning equipment -- Thermo-former based packaging lines -- Operation of PLC based equipment -- Pumps/motors & Mechanical drives -- Electrical drives and basic electrical diagnostics -- Ampoule/vial/bottle/carton transportation systems -- Building services including HVAC, boilers and Water plant o Process pipework and systems -- Autoclaves/Sterilising Ovens -- Knowledge and experience of working in GMP classified areas -- Completion of engineering and GMP documentation to required standards Package: -- £48,450 including shift allowance -- Up to 3% Bonus -- Paid overtime -- Pension -- Life Assurance -- 25 days holidays + 8 stat days Tiro is a specialist Employment Agency and Employment Business assisting with both contract and permanent opportunities in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, engineering and manufacturing sectors.
