Job Description Role: Principal Designer / CDM Consultant Salary : Competitive Salary (DOE) + Bonus Location: Billericay, Essex Duration: Permanent Job Wanted: As a CDM Consultant, you will play a vital role in assisting the Project Management department with the running and coordination of the pre-construction phase of a project, ensuring compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015.
You'll be assessing the risks to projects, applying health & safety knowledge, liaising with contractors and assisting with H&S decision making, working closely with clients, designers, and contractors to identify and mitigate risks, whilst ensuring safe and compliant project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Act as the Principal Designer as required, ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
Collaborate with project teams to identify and manage risks throughout the design and construction phases.
Provide CDM and health & safety advice to clients, designers, and contractors.
Review and prepare pre-construction information, risk assessments, and method statements.
Attend project meetings to provide guidance on health and safety issues and promote a culture of safety awareness.
