Luxoft Automotive offers solutions & services across four automotive domains and multiple horizontal offerings, addressing key areas for growthRoleCurrently we are looking for a Program Manager in the UK for an automotive software development business, especially in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and broader automotive software development field, who will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the product team and stakeholders, ensuring that the product vision is correctly translated into development tasks.
This role demands a unique blend of skills and responsibilities, emphasizing excellent communication, a structured approach, and a strong technical background.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Client Communication and Relationship BuildingTake proactive in communicating with current and potential clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and strategic objectivesBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in automotive software development, specifically focusing on ADAS technologiesUtilize exceptional communication skills to negotiate and influence, ensuring alignment between client expectations and product development efforts.Proactive Business development/UpsellIntegrate client feedback into product development processes more strategically, ensuring that the product evolves in ways that enhance client satisfaction and open up new business opportunitiesFacilitate focus groups, user forums, or one-on-one client interviews to gather in-depth insights that inform product strategy and development prioritiesBacklog Management and PrioritizationAssist in managing the product backlog, ensuring it is appropriately prioritized in alignment with the product strategy and stakeholder needsWork closely with the Product Owner to refine and clarify backlog items, ensuring that the development team has a steady stream of clearly defined and understood workTechnical Expertise and GuidanceBring a strong technical background in Automotive Low-level Software and automotive software development, understanding the complexities and challenges of the domainProvide technical guidance to the development team, helping overcome challenges and ensure the product meets the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements for the automotive industryKeep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automotive software development, advising on best practices and potential innovationsStakeholder Engagement and addressing customer requestsEngage with stakeholders to gather feedback on product releases and iterations, ensuring user and customer feedback is incorporated into future development cyclesPlay a key role in defining user stories and acceptance criteria to meet customer expectations and solve real-world problemsProject Coordination and Agile PracticesEnsure that agile practices are followed and adapted as necessary to meet project and organizational needsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of development cycles, timely delivery, and adherence to budgets and timelinesCollaboration with Sales and Marketing TeamsCollaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure the product messaging is coherent and compelling to target marketsProvide technical expertise and market insights to support the creation of marketing materials, sales pitches, and promotional strategiesAssist in preparing detailed product demonstrations and presentations for clients, showcasing the product's unique value proposition and technical capabilitiesRequirements10+ years of experience in Automotive Software program and project management domainExperience in a multicultural environment (strong presence India, UK, German culture mix)Excellent communication skillsExperience in matrix org setup, leading teams of 20 – 30 people Solid Team Player, endless curiosity and ability to pair a global mindset with locally relevant executionStructured mindset and sharp reportingLow-level SW technical background (CAN, SOME/IP, UDP, Autosar Classic BSW, Architecture understanding)ADAS and ASPICE backgroundExperienced in Planning, Ghant charts, Jira, ExcelReadiness to be ready to work onsite in the UK OEM office (Gaydon) and travel regularly to India
