Job Description: As an arborist, you will be responsible for the planting, maintaining, and caring for trees in various settings, including parks, residential areas, and commercial properties.
Your role will involve ensuring the health and safety of trees, conducting assessments, and performing necessary tree care activities.
Key Responsibilities for tree Surgeon: Conduct tree inspections and risk assessments to identify any issues Perform tree pruning, felling, and removal operations safely and efficiently Plant and transplant trees, ensuring proper care and maintenance Apply appropriate treatments to trees for disease and pest control Operate and maintain arborist equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear Provide advice and recommendations to clients on tree care and management Collaborate with team members to complete projects and meet client expectations Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Requirements for Tree Surgeon: Relevant qualifications in arboriculture (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Arboriculture, NPTC certificates) Proven experience in arboriculture and tree care Knowledge of tree biology, pest and disease management, and tree pruning techniques Proficient in the use of arborist tools and equipment Strong understanding of health and safety practices related to arboriculture Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions Benefits for Tree Surgeon: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and training Supportive and collaborative work environment Chance to work on a variety of interesting and rewarding projects Application Process: Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience by applying for this role.
