CNC Miller Lisburn, NI £15ph - £18ph (DOE) Permanent My client is a quality driven business specialising in volume manufacture of precision machined and turned components for multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller Set up and Operate 3 & 5 Axis machine tools, DMG Mori, Hermle and Doosan with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
Prove out new programs, build up new tools as per job tooling lists.
Dimensionally check components using various hand held instruments such as verniers, bore mics, Micrometers and gauges Read and interpret engineering drawings, understanding tolerances and the required checks to be carried out.
Qualifications & Experience – CNC Miller Previous experience as a CNC machinist or setter operator is essential.
Ability to set up and prove out a program and carry out basic dimensional checks is essential Experience of using hand held inspection tools and demonstrate competent use of these and recording the results An NVQ relevant to Engineering would be desirable but not essential.
