Step into the role of RetoucherDiscover an exciting opportunity to take on an integral role here at Joules Head Office.Your role of Retoucher sits within our friendly and creative Studio and Production department.
Your Role:The role of Retoucher sits in our spectacular Studio & Production Services department, where you will provide specialist expertise to ensure that all post production requirements are executed to a professional level across studio and location.
You will be responsible for delivering iconic product and brand creative imagery for e-commerce & campaign.
Produce high quality assets for all Joules channels, making sure assets are consistent, and are retouched in accordance with the company style and brand guidelines.
Working closely with all relevant teams to produce perfect product and brand images captured in both studio and location settings.
Retouching a variety of product types including still life, mannequin, flat lays and on model to a strict daily post production target.
Complete bespoke/complex post production amendments to images.
Create and apply photoshop actions and scripts as part of workflow.
Work collaboratively with the coordination team to ensure that all product issues are flagged and retouched before distribution.
Ensure work is completed in accordance with postproduction guidelines and use approved ways of working.
Follow studio & production processes to ensure the post production runs seamlessly.
Utilise and update sample and asset management documents to track assets through the production.
Produce perfect product and brand images captured in both studio and location settings.
Complete quality assurance requests as advised by senior retoucher, production manager.
Complete colour correction to images ensuring they are consistent and a true representation of the product.
Collaborate with cross functional teams on a variety of creative projects.
Maintain the digital asset library and the integrity of folder structures.
Check that all files adhere to asset naming conventions.
Liaise with the 3rd party supplier and freelance contributors when required.
Support Senior Retoucher with team administration tasks and coordination or workload when required and during periods of annual leave.

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have: A vast knowledge of retouching techniques is essential in both Ecomm and marketing imagery.
Extremely high competence of using the latest Photoshop software and all image retouching practices with excellent skin and product retouch techniques.
Ability to interpret a retouching brief with a commercial understanding and brand awareness.
High competence in accurate colour correction using physical and digital swatches.
A strong and confident communicator.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Good experience using MAC operating systems.
Experience working within a creative studio environment.
Where will you be working?This is a full time role based at 'The Barn' - this is Joules' purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

This role is office based and typically requires 5 days a week working onsite, as we believe this is where we make the best decisions together.
