An esteemed Primary School and Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic classroom teacher with a passion for delivering exceptional education to join their EY team as a Reception Teacher for LAT.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of elevating educational standards and providing inspirational teaching and learning in EY.
A commitment to fostering positive engagement with pupils, staff, and the wider community is essential.
Fixed-Term position (until December 2024/February 2025).
Full-time position.
Three-form-entry.
Starting in November 2024.
London MPS1 - UPS3 Salary.

Teaching Responsibilities: Develop, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse needs of children, focusing specifically on EY (reception) curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
Employ effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire children, ensuring that academic goals are met.
Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing consistent feedback and setting EY (reception) improvement targets.
Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum materials that enhance learning experiences and share best practices for EY (reception) education.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behaviour and positive relationships among EY (reception) children.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on EY (reception) student progress and address any concerns specific to EY (reception).
Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required, with a focus on EY (reception) educational strategies.
Requirements: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching EY (reception) children in a primary school setting.
Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest educational practices.
Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
