This is no ordinary building surveying job and no ordinary team- youll take on diverse and thrilling responsibilities in both the residential and educational sectors, with a variety of projects that will challenge and inspire you every day.
The ideal Building Surveyor ?
Someone with solid experience in these sectors, with a sharp eye for construction contracts and expert-level CAD skills.
You'll be working on an exciting mix of schemes, including office-to-residential conversions, innovative new-build residential developments, and cutting-edge educational initiatives backed by SCA and CIF funding.

The package Up to £60,000 basic salary per annum (will pay more for Chartered status) Monday Friday 8am 5pm (flexibility around starting and finishing times) Team social and company events Generous holiday allowance Free, on-site parking Opportunities for professional development and career progression A supportive and collaborative team environment The Building Surveyor role Conduct building surveys, inspections, and condition reports for residential and educational properties Undertake Quantity Surveying tasks, such as cost estimating, tender analysis, and cost management Act as an Employer's Agent, managing project delivery on behalf of clients Project management responsibilities from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards Provide expert advice on property matters, including structural defects, repairs, maintenance, and building pathology Prepare and manage project specifications, schedules of work, and contracts Utilise CAD software to create and amend drawings in support of project development and planning Administer construction contracts and provide comprehensive contract management services Engage effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes Conduct dilapidation surveys, party wall matters, and other property-related assessments Produce detailed reports, feasibility studies, and recommendations for clients The person Proven Building Surveying experience in the residential and educational sectors ( essential ) Experience in Quantity Surveying, Employer's Agent, and Project Management roles (desirable) Proficiency in CAD software, with the ability to create and modify technical drawings Strong knowledge of construction contracts Excellent project management and client-facing skills Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites as required ( essential ) TPBN1_UKTJ
