About the Role: My client is working with a renowned consumer electronics brand seeking a skilled Trade Marketing Manager to enhance their presence across retail and distributor channels.
This pivotal role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring the brand remains competitive and innovative within a fast-paced industry.
As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will act as the bridge between the marketing and sales teams, driving brand visibility, maximizing retail opportunities, and ensuring seamless execution of trade initiatives.
This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with experience in trade marketing, category management, or channel strategy within the consumer electronics or FMCG sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Trade Strategy Development: Design and implement trade marketing strategies that align with business objectives and drive sales growth across multiple channels.
Channel Partnerships: Collaborate closely with retail and distributor partners to develop tailored marketing initiatives, promotions, and activations.
Sales Enablement: Provide tools, training, and materials to sales teams to enhance channel performance and optimize in-store execution.
Promotional Campaigns: Develop and oversee trade promotions, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and in-store activations, ensuring high ROI.
Market Insights: Analyze shopper behaviors, market trends, and competitor activities to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
Performance Tracking: Monitor the effectiveness of trade marketing activities, providing detailed reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Budget Management: Oversee trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all channels.
Retail Excellence: Drive improvements in in-store visibility, merchandising, and customer experience through collaboration with visual merchandising teams.
Candidate Profile: Experience: 5+ years in trade marketing, channel management, or a similar role within the consumer electronics, FMCG, or retail sectors.
Proven experience in designing and executing trade marketing strategies with measurable success.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
Creative mindset with a knack for developing innovative marketing solutions.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of trade marketing tools, CRM platforms, and analytics software.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Other Requirements: A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Flexibility to travel as needed to visit retail partners and attend events.
