We are currently looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team and take on exciting opportunities with our client base.
Key Responsibilities : Safely operate a Class 1 HGV (articulated vehicle) to transport goods to various locations.
Ensure on-time deliveries and collections while adhering to schedules.
Complete vehicle checks and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Follow all relevant road safety regulations and legal requirements, including tachograph and driver hours.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to resolve any issues or delays.
Maintain a professional standard of conduct at all times, representing the agency and client to the highest level.
Requirements : Valid Class 1 HGV (C+E) driving licence .
Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification and digital tachograph card.
Clean driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Previous Class 1 driving experience, preferably in the logistics or transport sector.
Excellent understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends as required.
Ability to work on short notice or as part of a rostered schedule.
