Job summary An opportunity has opened up within Gwynedd and Ynys Mon CAMHS.
We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join our Meirionnydd & Dwyfor team.The successful candidates will join our clinical team providing assessment and interventions for children and young people.If you are enthusiastic and passionate about working with Children and their families please apply.
Main duties of the job We are looking for practitioners who can work flexibly across the different areas of the service when needed.
You will provide mental health assessments of children, young people, their families and work with other professionals in meeting their diverse needs.
You must be a registered professional with a relevant governing body (NMC, Social Care Wales or health care professionals council) and be able to deliver mental health assessments (compliant with The Mental Health Measure Wales 2010) and evidence based interventions for children and young people.
Experience of working in the community with children and young people/adults who are displaying a range of risk type behaviours, complex mental health needs and complex family situations are essential requirements for this post.
The service operates 7 day working and the willingness and ability to work across the service hours is essential if required to cover absence.
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
