We are seeking a dedicated Relief Security Officer to help protect people and property across various sites.
As a key part of our security team, you will be the front line defender, monitoring activities and reporting any incidents using tools like wands and metal detectors.
 Position: Relief Security Officer  Hours: 30 hours per week Transport: Driving Licence  Requirements: 3 years' experience in Security with a valid SIA licence.Be a vital part of our dynamic team, where your skills and leadership will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our client in Crawley.Job OpportunityProtecting the customer's employees, property, and other assets in line with the relevant Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirementsDisplay an outstanding level of customer servicePatrolling dutiesFire and safety responsibilitiesTake responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may haveDisplay the highest standard of personal presentation and smartness of uniform to maintain the image of Securitas and the customerAnswer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with the Assignment InstructionsBook on at the beginning of each shift and make check calls in accordance with Company policyEnsure all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover proceduresUndertake any other duties as requested by the Branch ManagementDemonstrate understanding and engagement with the Securitas Core Values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness, whilst showing a natural ability to recognise risk within the workplace and consider safety as a priority, complying with relevant policies, procedures and training as provided by the CompanyEssential SkillsValid SIA LicenceDriving LicenceRight to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.3 years' experience in securityStrong customer service skills and a proactive approachExcellent risk management and problem-solving abilitiesGood administrative skills, including incident report writingProficient in IT and computer systemsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenA customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle complex situationsA keen focus on providing excellent service to both staff and visitorsDE&ISecuritas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
