Civils Supervisor

The Civils Site Supervisor oversees and coordinates the activities of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure that a construction project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
The role involves direct supervision, quality control, safety management, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Essential: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction supervision or a similar role.
SSSTS Emergency First Aid at Work Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Desirable: A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Oversee day-to-day operations on sites.
Ensure that all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Supervise construction crews and subcontractors, assign tasks and responsibilities to workers.
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as needed.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
Identify and address any deficiencies or issues.
Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with all standards.
Enforce safety protocols and procedures on the construction site.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Ensure that all workers are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Resolve any conflicts or delays that may arise during the construction process.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction site and the project manager.
Communicate progress, issues, and changes to all relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project status.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
Ensure that all necessary permits and documentation are in place and up to date.
Handle administrative tasks related to site operations.
Identify and address potential problems or risks before they impact the project.
Develop and implement solutions to overcome challenges and obstacles.
