Description Build A Rocket Boy are looking for a QA Analyst to join the team at this exciting time in the company's journey.
Key Responsibilities Test and verify new game features and engine functionalities, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Cooperate closely with the development team to ensure build coverage and visibility of issues.
Report and verify bugs, providing detailed documentation, reproduction steps, and insights.
Analyze data and communicate risks to ensure a smooth and high-quality user experience.
Collaborate within a Pod structure, working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements Core Responsibilities:   Create, implement, and iterate test plans for new game features.
Develop and maintain test cases throughout the game development cycle.
Produce detailed test reports for stakeholders, providing qualitative feedback and escalating critical issues.
Own feature quality and ensure issues are appropriately logged.
Perform manual testing for performance, stability, and adherence to quality standards.
Ensure project test plans are being followed and provide updates on progress.
Qualifications:   Some professional QA experience in a software or game-testing environment.
Prior experience in QA for game development, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
Experience with JIRA and Testrail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to think analytically, work systematically, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong autonomous attitude and ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to work within a team and under time pressure.
Fluent in English.
Passion for playing and breaking games.
Nice to Haves:   Experience using game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity).
Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., 3ds Max, Maya, Blender).
Experience testing on PC and current generation consoles.
