Job summary Come join our new triage team for District Nursing.We are a team of cohesive and supportive nursing and administration staff that have come together to create a brand new venture to ensure our patients are receiving the best care in the county.You will provide leadership to a team of staff all recruited for the triage desk alone, the team all have different experiences to share.The successful candidate will be responsible for triaging patients from a waiting list, providing leadership and support to others.
Main duties of the job As a Band 6 senior triage nurse you will be responsible for the day to day management of the triage desk, including management and training of the staff and ensuring there is adequate cover to provide a safe and efficient service.You will need to be a highly motivated practitioner with strong leadership skills, be a good problem solver and demonstrate effective communication skills.
