Job summary We are recruiting a Senior Recovery Navigator to join our recovery navigation teams across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire to work in an integrated way with our partners in the Mental health and wellbeing Integrated Network Teams (MINTs) who support clients with moderate to high enduring mental health difficulties to find coping strategies personally and within their community.
Main duties of the job You will work as part of a multi-professional team with representatives from PCLS, Adult Social Care, AWP to name but a few, in order to complete support conversations and interventions with clients referred into the MINT hub.
You may also need to attend daily Multi-Disciplinary Discussions (MDDs) within the Hub to discuss referrals following a support conversation.

Job description Job responsibilities Support the development of the Mental health and Wellbeing Integrated Network Team (MINT) including testing new ways of providing integrated care to service users and collaborating with other team members to meet targets and promote effective communication and teamwork.
Carry out the role adhering to Second Steps policies, procedures, values and code of conduct, work to the agreed MINT SOPs and current legislation using a recovery orientated, psychologically informed, equalities-based approach.
Have up-to-date safeguarding training, ensure that safeguarding policies and procedures and MINT SOPs are fully adhered to and that a Your Team, Your Conversation, Your Plan approach is embedded within working practices collaborating wherever possible in order to succeed together.
Contribute to or lead on project work, development initiatives and implementation of policies and procedures with guidance from the management team Person Specification Experience Essential A minimum of two years recent experience of working with people with mental health needs including needs assessments and the support planning process.
Experience of working with people with multiple needs mental health, learning difficulty, personality disorder.
Experience of providing practical and emotional support to enable the client to take up the responsibilities of their own recovery.
Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary environment Experience of leading a team including providing regular supervisions, completing annual appraisals and creating performance development plans.
Desirable Proven experience of mental health issues and/or services, either as a user, carer, supporter, volunteer or worker.
