Teaching Personnel is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join a welcoming school in Wareham starting January 2025.
About the Role: As a Food Technology Teacher, you will inspire students to develop essential life skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of food science and preparation.
You will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the needs of learners across all abilities.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive Food Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum, preparing students for assessments and real-life applications.
Design differentiated lessons to cater to diverse learning needs.
Incorporate hands-on activities, technology, and practical applications to engage students.
Regularly assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes enthusiasm for learning.
Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous.
PGCE/QTS/QTLS qualification.
Experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
