Full-time permanent self-employed courier driver positions with Rocket Delivery Services Ltd delivering packages and great customer experiences
We will provide you with a VAN, INSURANCE, FUEL and UNIFORM Why be a Delivery Driver with Rocket: We run an early shift and a back shift Weekly pay, 2 weeks in arrears Performance bonus Referral bonus Top Driver bonus 4, 5 or 6 days per week 4 on, 2 off rota system to ensure 2 consecutive days off 14 days paid training with ongoing support Delivery uniform Your route is pre-planned, all you need to do is follow it Packages are presorted for your van loading Vans to be picked up and returned to yard daily Daily interaction with customers Opportunities to progress Existing Amazon Flex drivers will find increased stability and availability of work Requirements to be a Delivery Driver with Rocket: Must hold a valid driving licence (UK or foreign) with no more than 6 points and no major convictions - must be a manual licence, not automatic Able to pass a criminal background check Able to pass a pre-scheduled and random drug and alcohol check Able to commute to and from Bathgate or Eurocentral in your own vehicle Early shift starts around 7am for a 6 hour route, back shift starts around 11am, ready to go out on road around 11.45am, back at yard by around 8pm.
(early shift pay rate £78 per day) Able to use stairs to deliver parcels Able to lift and deliver packages (up to 23 kgs) and be able to get in and out a van numerous times throughout the day Have reasonable spoken English Responsibilities as a Delivery Driver with Rocket: Load vans and deliver packages, by driving, stepping in and out of the vehicle safely a number of times throughout the day Adhere to all safety regulation on the road Operate a mobile device for GPS and daily records Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude Applicants will be contacted for an immediate informal telephone interview to get you out on road as soon as possible
