Join AJW Group as a Strategic Buyer and play a key role in supporting our procurement strategy, driving analytical insights, and building strong supplier relationships.
We are looking for a motivated Strategic Buyer to support the Strategic Sourcing Management (SSM) team on a fixed term contract.
You will execute the AJW Group Procurement Strategy and contribute to delivering measurable savings objectives, enhance data-driven decision-making, and foster collaborative relationships across departments.
What you'll do Create and implement spend analytics and reporting systems to support the Strategic Sourcing team, showcasing your strong technical skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
Leverage your experience in supplier management to contribute to effective supplier relationships, enhancing value and performance.
Manage new customer engagement requests and facilitate key relationships with the AJW tactical buying teams and the Commercial team.
Assist the Strategic Sourcing team with daily procurement tasks, including JIRA ticket management, RFP management, evaluations, contracting, and reporting.
What You'll Bring: Experience working in procurement, whether as a buyer, procurement specialist, or procurement analyst, in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Strong ability to analyse spend, volume, and market data to support procurement decisions and identify opportunities for savings.
Experience in creating and implementing spend analytics to support strategic sourcing and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships across departments, negotiate effectively with suppliers, and drive value.
