The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: **Position Summary:** We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineer to design and maintain advanced electrical systems for marine and naval applications.
This position involves extensive collaboration with other engineering teams to ensure the optimal functionality and safety of electrical systems on marine vessels and naval infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, includingpower distribution, lighting, andcontrol systemsfor marine vessels.
- Perform detailed electrical analyses andtroubleshootingto ensure systems conform to national and international standards and operational requirements.
- Engage in the full lifecycle development of electrical projects, fromconceptual designthrough to implementation and maintenance.
-Collaboratewith marine architects and other engineers to integrate electrical systems into overall vessel designs.
- Conduct field tests and inspections to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical installations.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications for electrical systems and equipment.
**Qualifications:** - Bachelors or Masters degree inElectrical Engineeringwith a focus on marine or naval applications.
- Minimum of 5 years experience inelectrical engineering, specifically in a marine environment.
- Proficient with electrical CAD software and tools such asETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of maritimesafety regulationsand electrical standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in diverse team settings.
