Chief Technology Officer (CTO) | Remote - Global The Role We are seeking a visionary, dynamic, and highly experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our industry-leading crypto betting and gaming technology platform.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the CTO will play a crucial role in shaping the company's technological vision, strategy, and execution.
This position demands a leader who can drive innovation, manage a high-performing tech team, and ensure the platform's scalability, security, and reliability.
The company is a brand-new casino platform launched by seasoned betting and crypto operators.
Initially focused on disrupting the crypto betting industry with a revolutionary platform and proprietary games, the platform has a day 2 strategy to become a mainstream platform leader.
Skills/Requirements 10+ years in technology leadership roles, preferably in the igaming industry (crypto gambling as a bonus) Proven track record of successfully leading technology strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of the iGaming space, including technology stacks, game APIs, and third-party vendor integration.
Strong knowledge of software development, architecture, and system integration.
Excellent project/program management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
Experience with cybersecurity best practices and ensuring data privacy and compliance.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities Develop and execute the company's technology strategy to support the business goals and objectives.
Lead the design, development, and deployment of the platform's technology infrastructure.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the platform.
Oversee the technology budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Build and manage a high-performing tech team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to align technology initiatives with business needs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Manage relationships with external technology partners and vendors.
Act as the primary technical escalation point for any technology-related issues.
Contribute to the overall product strategy and evolution, driving technological innovation.
Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in the gambling industry and a deep understanding of gaming technologies.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the online gaming and crypto industries.
Proven experience in launching and scaling technology platforms.
