Job description: About the Role In this pivotal position, you'll ensure the precision and timeliness of our VAT submissions, collaborate with third-party advisors, and lead VAT reconciliations.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and with the assistance of an Assistant VAT Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in the success of our Group Finance team.
Your Responsibilities VAT Expertise: Manage our VAT submissions, conduct strategic audits, and oversee payments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Process Improvement: Develop and maintain our Indirect Tax policy, initiate automation projects, and lead training to enhance our processes.
Advisory Role: Serve as the primary point of contact for VAT advice, keeping the firm updated on regulatory changes and addressing VAT-related inquiries.
Required profile: Who We're Looking For A qualified accountant or tax advisor (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA) with a focus on indirect taxes.
Someone with a solid background in VAT, preferably within legal or professional services.
A team player who's adept at driving change and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
An individual with a keen eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and strong IT skills.
