Radiology Support Worker

Job summary The Radiology department at the Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Hospital is looking for a Band 2 Radiology Support Worker to join our friendly team.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work across the whole of the Radiology department supporting patient care.
This includes within the state-of-the-art Norfolk Centre for Interventional Radiology which opened in September 2020, assisting the Vascular Access Team with inserting vascular access devices and supporting patient care throughout CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Plain Film.We have an exciting opportunity to become part of a unique team in a highly patient-focused role to collaborate with colleagues on shaping and developing patient service to put us at the cutting edge of Radiology developments as we grow as a team.Radiology aims to recruit, nurture, and develop talent through our in-house specialist training programs, with supernumerary status for the first four weeks.
Radiology Nursing has a dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator, and we often provide teaching sessions for all staff to support skill progression.
