About Stanhope Lodge Stanhope Lodge supports a wide range of people with both long-stay and short-break accommodation.

Key Skills: (These will be used as the shortlisting criteria) Ability to build relationships with people from a wide variety of cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds, and ensure their views are heard and their needs are met.Good organisational/ prioritising skills, can co-ordinate a variety of tasks and work as part of a team.Adapts communication to the needs of the individual – e.g.

Qualifications and/ experience: Basic literacy and numeracy skills, in order to record and document activities in the provider plans.Basic understanding of the needs of the people we support and their rights as an individual.Demonstrable successful experience of working as part of a team.Knowledge of Health and Safety practice, First Aid and Fire procedure, Manual Handling - DesirableNVQ 2/Diploma in Care or equivalent qualification - DesirablePrevious experience of working in a care setting and with people who have a disability or are vulnerable - DesirablePrevious experience of running group activities - Desirable
