Job summary As Programmes Senior Manager the post holder will work as part of a dynamic nursing and midwifery team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff.
The post holder will support the Head of Nursing & Midwifery and their Team, to ensure successful implementation of the nursing and midwifery portfolio of work at regional and sub-regional level.
There is an expectation to be in Victoria House, Fulbourn, 40% of the time and to travel across the region as part of this role.
Main duties of the job The Programme's Senior Manager will have specific responsibility for: Programme and project management: Providing comprehensive project management duties overseeing the delivery of the work streams identified in the Long Term Workforce Plan beyond Communication and stakeholder engagement Working with key partners internal and external to NHS England to ensure the successful implementation of the Team's delivery plan of Workforce, Training and Education Nursing & Midwifery managerial expertise.
Liaising closely with the National Nursing and Midwifery Programme Ensuring attention to detail in all aspects of their work.
