VolkerStevin have a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Administrator to join our procurement team in Preston assisting the Procurement Manager with all administration for our internal plant hire desk.
Typical duties are: Obtain and keep accurate records of, but not limited to supplier insurances, accreditations, policies, audit documentation and rate cards Run and review supplier credit reports Take meeting notes, file and distribute accordingly Obtain and record supplier spend Maintenance of plant benchmarking documents Assist in providing plant tender documentation Complete order uplifts for hired in plant and equipment Run and check reports within the 4PS hire system Obtain and track supplier key performance indicators Support with collating client audit documentation Assist in onboarding of new plant suppliers and maintenance of the plant preferred supplier list Assist the plant hire desks and procurement manager in month end preparations Assist the internal hire desk in updating live hire reports Assist in the investigation and close out of invoice queries Offer cover for the internal hire desk to process on / off hires as and when required Support the Procurement Manager with general administrative tasks About you Previous administration experience is desirable Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills Good verbal and written communication skills Experience of prioritising a varied workload If your past experience doesn't match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
