This stunning care village comprises 47 independent living apartments as well as an 85 bedded nursing, residential and dementia care home.
We are looking to appoint a driver that meets the needs of our care team towork on an 'as and when' basis to cover annual leave and adhoc sickness.
Duties will include: Collect and deliver our team members from designated pick-up points Carry out scheduled checks on all company vehicles, recording checks on appropriate documentation.
Report any vehicle defects as soon as identified and, if necessary, investigate and report findings.
Ensure that the Company vehicles are cleaned inside and out on a weekly basis, or sooner if necessary.
Arrange for vehicles to be valeted as required.
Ensure that all vehicles have an adequate supply of fuel in the tank, using agreed suppliers.
Complete journey logs each time vehicles are used.
Ensure vehicle security that vehicles are locked and that alarms are activated when parking.
Be aware of tax and MOT certificate dates; communicating with the Administrator near due dates.
For this role it is essential you have a clean driving licence and are aged 25 and over as you will be required to drive our Mini-bus as well as the company car.
