We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a full time MHE Driver in a well-established operation in Berkshire, Thatcham, RG19 4ND.
Pay Rate as a full time MHE Driver: Standard Payrate: £13.44 p/h Night Shift: £14.78 p/h Additionally there rate increase of 10% for the peak period which ends on the 31st December 2024 Typical working hours as a full time MHE Driver: Any 5 out of 6 days (Sunday to Friday - 8 hour shift) Normal operating hours will be 6am - 9:30pm with shifts starting at 6am, 7am, 8am, 10am & 1pm Night Shift: 10pm to 6am On a Sunday, there is just one shift 8am - 4:30pm 45 mins break (15 mins paid) **We will need staff to be flexible on shift times ** Your role as a MHE Driver: Operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE), particularly pallet trucks, counterbalance, high level order pickers and Reach trucks Manoeuvring forklifts safely in a busy warehouse environment Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto bulk racking or pallets Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures Skills & Experience Required: Previous MHE experience required within a Warehouse/Distribution Centre environment Must be able to work at height Ability to communicate professionally Comfortable working in a target-driven environment Ability to follow H&S procedures Good organisational and time management skills Must be able to speak and understand English language Ability to be flexible in relation to shifts & hours Must be able to work weekends as needed What benefits are available as a MHE Driver?
