People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester.

Day to Day Duties Caged deliveries to pubs and restaurants Waste collections from restaurants (plastic, cardboard or food) Collections of empty cages Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed.
Essential Skills Hold a valid UK C Licence (CLASS 2) Have a minimum of 2years experience driving a C vehicles.
No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card.
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English.
Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.
Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
What training is provided?
Driving assessment must be completed before starting.
