You will play a vital role in helping teams identify relevant environmental regulations for the HPC and SZC sites.
You'll support efforts to address regulatory Assessment Findings, ensuring that Edvance's systems and structures align with the SZC replication strategy.
Furthermore, you'll collaborate with system engineers, civil engineers, and layout teams in Paris and Bristol to ensure the thorough definition of functional requirements, operational protocols, and waste management strategies.
In this role, you'll oversee the production of chemical inventories and the COMAH justification for the EPRE scope, ensuring proper methodologies are applied to buildings and systems, and preparing the associated reports.
Being an Environmental Engineer means demonstrating experience working within engineering projects, with a strong knowledge of environmental requirements, studies, and assessments.
You'll be familiar with the implementation of environmental requirements and have a solid understanding of Best Available Techniques (BAT) for ensuring compliance.
You'll have a knowledge of Nuclear Safety Assessment Principles and their application along with experience in system design and layout engineering, allowing you to navigate technical challenges effectively.
