The Role We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Accounts Assistance to l support the Legal Accounts Manager/Team Leader in ensuring the smooth operations and compliance with relevant rules and regulations including SRA Accounts Rules.
You will contribute to the effectiveness of the Finance department by providing a comprehensive and efficient service to internal and external clients Key Duties Dealing with incoming post.
To post and process disbursements and expenses accurately on a daily basis.
Assist with Bank reconciliations and ensure any appropriate action is taken inc. rectifying any discrepancies.
Ensure payments requests, receipts and transfers (inc. CTO) are posted to ledgers and bank payments are set up and authorised in a timely manner.
Assist with banking of cheques and cash as and when required, ensuring they are banked on a timely basis.
Deal directly with clients when receiving payment by cash, credit card and cheque.
