Description Marlborough Highways have an exciting opportunity to join the business as a Performance Analyst.
Working across our Contracts in collaboration with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders you will ensure the timely production of management information and reports to allow informed business decisions to be made and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities External Reporting : Lead the production and delivery of external reports across contracts, ensuring deadlines are met.
Ensure high-quality reports suitable for presentation to senior stakeholders, maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Internal Reporting and KPI Development: Support the enhancement of internal data systems, KPI analysis, and reporting tools to drive business improvement and align with organizational goals.
Collaboration with Delivery Teams : Work with delivery teams to ensure accurate monthly KPI data is produced and submitted to clients on time.
Operational Performance Support : Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Provide weekly look-ahead reports to delivery teams to support proactive decision-making.
Bid Promise Monitoring : Assist in tracking and reporting bid promises, collecting supporting evidence, and presenting it to clients for formal sign-off.
Client Engagement : Attend client meetings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, produce minutes, manage the monthly action tracker and support the resolution of identified actions to maintain positive relationships.
Relationship Development : Ensure the continued development of client relationships and satisfaction by improving business performance and addressing client needs effectively.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Essential- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Advanced Microsoft Excel) with strong attention to detail.
Interviews will include an assessment with Microsoft Excel Data Analysis Tools / Pivot Tables Experience in Visual Basic / Excel Macros / Microsoft Business Insights desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet challenging deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally, while effectively engaging and negotiating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of highways maintenance operations and associated performance measures is an advantage.
