Behaviour Buddy

A Primary School based in Crewe, has approached New Directions to assist them in finding a Learning Support Assistant (Behaviour Buddy) to support a student on a 1:1 basis.
This position will be full time, five days a week, with the view to go permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the role include: Working with the student 1:1 to encourage and promote their learning Working closely with the class teacher Building a strong relationship with the student to engage them in lessons and create and environment for successful learning This school's ethos focuses on promoting a community feel and working together to achieve amazing things.

If you have any of the following skills or experience, please forward your CV: Working with children and young adults in an education, youth groups or similar setting.
Part completion of a teaching qualification including at least one teaching practice.
TEFL training and experience (may need an Overseas Police Check if you have worked abroad).
Strong behavioural management skills.
Confidence and good communication skills.
Knowledge of safeguarding (Safeguarding L1 provided by New Directions Education).
Previous cover supervisor experience is desirable but not essential.
