Our customers include major national retailers and foodservice operators who want to offer their shoppers/consumers quality local foods, which are often delivered fresh every day.
We are proud to support local communities throughout the UK and are looking for a Commercial Finance Partner to join our talented team and help us drive our mission even further.
Job Title: Commercial Finance Partner Reports to: Commercial Finance Manager Location: East Kilbride - hybrid working typically 3 days onsite Key Needs: Proficient MS Word, Excel skills Accounting Degree Key Objectives: Key Business Partner for our commercial teams, providing analysis to drive actions and lead profit growth.
Analysis of financial process and reporting.
PL, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation.
Provide external reporting to customers and suppliers.
Assist with month end processes and reporting, including Board Pack supporting documentation.
Customer rebate calculation and reconciliations.
Ad hoc reporting Essential Experience/Knowledge: Fast paced data analysis.
Experience within food retailing or manufacturing preferable but not essential.
Accounting background with ACCA or similar qualification.
Essential Skills: Problem solving skills.
Ability to quicky manipulate data and provide actionable insights.
Effective communication and negotiation skills at all levels Numerate, self-motivated, administrative skills, customer care.
Proficient knowledge of excel/powerpoint and an appreciation of IT systems.
Desirable Experience: An understanding of the bakery industry.
Retail/Contract Catering related experience Essential Qualifications: Degree Newly Qualified CA or equivalent.
Will consider final exam students.
