Job summary Following the announcement of the new ARRS GP role available to PCN's, Winchester Rural South PCN are looking for an enthusiastic, newly qualified GP to join the team at Bishops Waltham Surgery.
Were looking for a passionate GP with:GMC registration and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) obtained within the last two years.
Not previously been substantively employed at a GP Practice Strong communication skills, ensuring patient confidentiality and rapport.
A proactive approach to career development and adherence to practice policies.
A commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice.
General understanding of the primary care contract Main duties of the job Provide face to face and telephoneconsultations for routine and urgent care.Conduct patient home visits.Manage patient care within the Practice,including investigating and reviewing results, developing care plans and makingthe necessary referrals.Issue and sign repeat prescriptions,adhering to national and local guidelines.Administer and manage patientqueries, test results, referral letters and any other duties as required in atimely manner.Make clear consultation notes andrecords using EMIS.Ensure safe, evidence based andcost-effective care in line with Practice disease management protocols and NICEguidelines.Independently prescribe medicationswithin your scope of practice.Review and manage patientmedications following the appropriate policies and local clinical guidelines.Work with our clinical and supportteams in delivering holistic and patient centred care.Actively participate in MDT and careconference meetings as required.Participate in on-call duties ifrequired.Regularly screen for lifestylefactors and support patients in adopting health promotion strategies andself-care principles.Contribute to the delivery ofanticipatory care plans.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Experience General Practice experience: Newly qualified GP (within 2 years) or recently completed GP training.
Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make confident decisions.
Professional conduct: Ability to work within professional codes of conduct, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Organisational skills: Ability to manage time, workload, and patient related administration efficiently.
Team player: Willingness to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Clinical systems knowledge: Experience with EMIS is preferred.
Experience Essential General Practice experience: Newly qualified GP (within 2 years) or recently completed GP training.
Must be GMC Registered
