Job Description As a Collections and Delivery Driver for DPD, you will serve as a crucial representative of our organisation, often being the primary point of contact for our customers.
Your role is essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence and reliability in parcel delivery services.
Key responsibilities include: Executing timely and accurate collections and deliveries, adhering strictly to scheduled routes and timeframes.
Providing exemplary customer service during all interactions, recognising that each encounter significantly impacts our company's reputation.
Assisting with the efficient loading of parcels at the depot, ensuring proper handling and organisation of items.
Managing a daily schedule of approximately 50-60 stops within the designated area, demonstrating exceptional time management and route optimisation skills.
Utilising provided equipment, such as the sack barrow/hand truck, to safely and efficiently handle heavier items.
Maintaining a professional demeanour and appearance at all times, as you represent DPD to our valued customers.
Adhering to all company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws without exception.
Promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies encountered during your shift to the appropriate supervisors.
This role demands a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
